The NPA have ensured that if you want to provide commercial rates to provide secure storage facilities, your services will be signposted to the local community.

Working with the Home Office, the National Police Chiefs Council and the Metropolitan Police your business will be signposted to local communities who want to know about your service.

The rates you charge and the legal agreement you have in place is up to you. But check with your insurance provider to see whether or not this service affects your premiums.

This UK wide scheme is open to all pawnbrokers, who are members of the NPA, are also regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and adhere to the Gold Standard which is a set of measures agreed by a range of partners to ensure stolen goods are not handled.
